1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Caricature Maker, operated by TENDEGREE LTD in the United Kingdom. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy policy explains how information is processed.

2. Accounts and permission to upload

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract to hold an account. Sign-in is through Google. Keep your account secure and notify us of unauthorized use. Upload only images you own or have permission to process, including permission from depicted people where required. Photos of children require authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

No NSFW content. You must not upload, request, generate, or attempt to generate any NSFW (not safe for work) image or scene. This includes, without limitation:

• nudity or partial nudity, including sexualized or implied nudity;
• pornography, sexually explicit content, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive poses, clothing, or scenarios;
• fetish content;
• non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexualized depictions of any real person without their consent;
• any sexual or sexualized content involving a minor or a person who appears to be a minor;
• graphic violence, gore, or content depicting or encouraging self-harm.

This applies to uploaded photos, custom prompts, selected presets, and any attempt to steer a result. Do not attempt to bypass safety checks or disguise prohibited requests. Ordinary non-sexual portraits, including family portraits, are welcome. We may block requests, delete content, and suspend or close accounts that violate this rule, and we report suspected child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.

You must not use the service for unlawful activity, exploitation, harassment, hateful abuse, deceptive impersonation, infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights, or fraud. Do not interfere with the service, evade usage limits, or misuse payment and credit systems. We may restrict or suspend access for violations or security reasons, subject to applicable law.

4. Content safety blocks: no credit refund

If a submitted creation is blocked by content safety checks, including an NSFW-related block, the credits consumed by that attempt are not returned, even if no image is produced or delivered. This applies to both Standard and Pro and to eligible credits from subscriptions, credit packs, or promotional grants. The rule concerns the credits spent on that attempt; it does not automatically remove the rest of your balance.

Safety checks may assess your input or the generated output and may sometimes flag a benign request. A safety block does not receive an automatic credit refund. If you believe a block was incorrect, contact support with the creation ID for review; do not repeatedly resubmit the same blocked request. A review does not guarantee a credit adjustment. Nothing in this rule limits remedies required by applicable law.

5. Credits and generation outcomes

Standard uses 1 credit per image; Pro uses 5 paid credits per image. Credits are reserved when a task is created. Pro requires sufficient valid paid credits. One-time credit packs do not expire; subscription credits expire at the end of the billing period for which they were issued. Eligible credits closest to expiry are used first.

Confirmed technical failures and cancellations that are not content safety blocks return the credits consumed by that attempt once. Pending or uncertain requests are checked before a return is issued. A timeout or delayed response does not by itself mean the task failed. Returned credits retain their source restrictions; when their original expiry has passed, they receive a 24-hour usage window.

AI results vary. We do not guarantee exact likeness, composition, artistic preference, or that every result will be suitable for your purpose. A successfully delivered image is not automatically eligible for a credit return solely because you dislike its style. This does not exclude rights concerning defective or misdescribed services under applicable law.

6. Purchases, subscriptions and cancellation

Prices, included credits, and billing intervals are displayed before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription credits are issued after the corresponding payment is confirmed, which may occur after you return from checkout.

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel renewal through account billing management or contact support if it is unavailable. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and does not itself refund the current payment. Separately purchased credits remain available. One active subscription is supported per account; immediate mid-period plan switching is not currently offered.

Cash refunds are separate from automatic credit returns and are reviewed individually. Contact support with the transaction reference for billing errors, duplicate charges, or other refund requests. Mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, and consumer protection rights remain applicable; these terms do not waive them.

7. Your content and generated images

You retain your rights in uploaded content. You authorize us and our processing services to process, transmit, and store it as necessary to provide the service, perform safety checks, and handle support or legal obligations. This is not permission to publish your private photos in our marketing.

You are responsible for how you use and share results and for respecting the rights of depicted people and other rights holders. We do not guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity, or clearance of third-party rights in AI-generated images. Contact support before use if you need clarification about applicable usage restrictions.

8. Storage and availability

Uploaded and generated files expire in our application after 7 days. Download results before expiry. Task and billing records may remain after image deletion. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, failures, or security measures. We may change features and will provide notice of material changes affecting existing purchases where required.

9. Responsibility and statutory rights

Use reasonable judgment when relying on generated content. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or responsibility for losses caused by unauthorized use or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and the date above. Material changes will receive notice where required and will not retroactively remove mandatory rights relating to an existing purchase. For support, billing questions, or content safety review, contact support@caricature-maker.com.
