Soft color. Big personality.

Watercolor Portrait brings a softer touch to a favorite cat or dog photo, with loose color and expressive features.

For the household character.

Retro Comic pairs bold outlines with vintage halftone. A playful direction for the pet with a look all their own.

Illustrative directions, not customer before-and-after results. Your reference photo shapes the final image.

THE WHOLE LITTLE FAMILY

Two pets.
Two very different personalities.

For a shared portrait, start with one photo that includes both animals. Clear faces and visible coat markings give the AI the details it needs to keep them distinct.

The portrait presets keep the pose in your reference. Use the optional prompt for a background color or another compatible detail.

“A soft sage background, with both pets’ distinct markings clearly visible.”

One image per upload. Separate pet photos cannot be merged in this studio.

GOOD QUESTIONS. GOOD PETS.

Before their
portrait debut.

Is the pet caricature maker free?+

It is free to try: new accounts get one-time free credits with Google sign-up. Use them for Standard images without entering a credit card. Pro requires paid credits; more credits are available through packs or subscriptions.

Does it work with both dogs and cats?+

Yes. Start with a clear dog or cat photo. The AI is guided to preserve species, coat patterns, ear shape and other distinctive features while adding playful exaggeration. Results vary with the reference image.

What makes a good pet photo?+

Choose a well-lit photo taken near your pet’s eye level. Keep the eyes, ears and muzzle visible, with enough detail to see coat markings. Avoid motion blur, heavy filters and subjects very far from the camera. Upload one JPG, PNG or WebP file smaller than 8 MB.

Can I include two pets in one portrait?+

Use one reference photo that already shows both pets clearly. The instructions preserve the number of subjects and keep each animal’s markings separate. Combining pets from separate uploads is not currently supported.

Can I change the pose or background?+

The three portrait presets keep the reference pose. Choose a photo with the pose you want, then use the custom prompt for compatible details such as a soft background color. The optional request does not override the selected preset or change your pet’s identity.

Can I make a gentle portrait of an older pet?+

Pencil Keepsake offers restrained exaggeration and a softer monochrome treatment. Use a clear reference and download the result if you want to keep it. These images are digital illustrations, not hand-drawn commissions.

Can I print my pet caricature as a gift?+

Download the image and check its pixel dimensions against your printer’s requirements. You can add names or other lettering in your design editor. Physical prints, frames, merchandise and shipping are not included.

Are these real before-and-after examples?+

The gallery contains separately generated illustrations of creative directions, not customer transformations. Your pet photo, selected look and custom details determine the actual result. Uploads and results remain private and are stored for up to 7 days.
