1. Who we are

This policy explains how Caricature Maker handles information when you browse the website, sign in, purchase credits, or create images. The operator is TENDEGREE LTD, located in the United Kingdom.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your Google account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and authentication and session records.
• Creation information: photos you upload, instructions, selected styles, generated images, task status, and error categories. Photos may contain faces and information about other people.
• Billing information: customer and transaction references, purchases, subscription status, credit grants, spending, and returns. Stripe handles payment card details; our application does not store full card numbers.
• Technical information: request and security logs, IP addresses, session identifiers, and usage information collected through Google Analytics, and information needed to diagnose errors, limit abuse, and operate the service.
• Messages you send when requesting support or exercising privacy rights.

3. Why we use information

We use information to authenticate you, generate and deliver images, maintain your credit balance, process subscriptions, provide support, secure the service, enforce our content rules, and meet legal obligations. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on performing our contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, legal obligations, or consent when required. Consent can be withdrawn for processing that relies on it.

4. Image processing and content safety

Your photos and instructions are sent to third-party AI processing services to produce results and perform content safety checks. These services receive the information needed for processing and may handle it under their own retention and security practices. Our file retention period does not describe or guarantee the retention period of every third-party service.

NSFW content is prohibited, including pornographic or sexually explicit material, sexualized nudity, non-consensual intimate imagery, and any sexual content involving minors. We record task outcomes and credit transactions to apply these rules. As explained in our Terms of use, credits consumed by a request blocked by content safety checks are not automatically refunded, even when no image is delivered.

Uploads and results are not placed in a public gallery by the application. We do not publish your photos as marketing examples without your permission. Temporary processing links may allow a processing service to access an image while the link remains valid.

5. Sharing and international processing

We use Google for sign-in and website analytics, Cloudflare for hosting, storage and infrastructure, Feishu for internal registration and creation-status notifications, Stripe for payments, and third-party AI services for image processing. Feishu notifications may contain your name, email address, and creation metadata, but not your uploaded or generated images or creation instructions. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, or investigate misuse. Processing may occur outside your country. Where required, applicable safeguards must govern international transfers. Contact us for information about the recipients and safeguards relevant to your data.

6. Retention and security

Uploaded and generated files in our application expire after 7 days from storage. Access is disabled on expiry, and scheduled cleanup removes expired files from our storage. Download results you want to keep. Expiration of an image does not automatically delete its task history, instructions, account records, or credit and billing records.

Other records are retained as needed to operate your account, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal and accounting requirements. Deletion requests are subject to these requirements. We use access controls and private storage, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use essential authentication and session cookies to keep you signed in. Blocking these cookies may prevent account features from working. We also use Google Analytics to measure visits and Google Ads conversion tracking (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups and purchases. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies and receive information such as pages visited, ad click identifiers, and purchase value. We do not sell your personal information or use your photos for advertising.

Visitors in the UK, EEA, and Switzerland are asked for consent before analytics and advertising cookies are used; until then those Google tools run in a restricted, cookieless mode. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the site footer.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to processing, and may complain to your local data protection authority. Send requests to the contact below. We may need to verify your identity. Signing out does not delete your account, and deleting an account is separate from canceling subscription renewal.

9. Children and photos of others

The service is intended for adult account holders. Upload photos of others only with appropriate permission. A parent or legal guardian must authorize processing of a child's photo. Ordinary family photos are permitted; sexual content involving children is strictly prohibited. Contact us if you believe a child's information was submitted without appropriate authorization.
